Like so many boutique law firms, JC legal didn't have a brand that supported the quality of its advice and breadth of its client base and reputation. It also (quite uniquely) has expertise in both family law and commercial law. Our challenge was to design an identity that felt modern yet familiar while speaking to two unrelated areas of practice.
Verbally, we designed a messaging framework around the emotional problems the lawyers were solving for the customers, rather than the service offerings themselves. In this way, the messaging speaks to resolution, simplicity and collaboration. Visually, we selected a very intentional colour palette and imagery that engender trust and quality.
